About this service

Supporting those aged 10-25* to ‘Live Well’, the YST work alongside local youth and community organisations to build on what’s available, offering somewhere to go and activities to do – as well as another someone to talk to when a listening ear is what’s needed. Youth-led, we work with those that visit us to make sure we’re offering what matters (based on their needs and interests) to help make a positive impact.

*inclusive for all children and young people aged 10-19, and up to 25 years for care leavers and those with Special Education Need and Disabilities (SEND).

More Information

A new service for Family Acton, the Youth Support Service will deliver universal, open access and outreach work for young people, including those ‘at-risk’. Starting with a thorough consultation period, our service will look to offer a codesigned service that has been shaped by the young people we work for.

Delivering youth clubs, targeted youth programs, holiday provisions and more, our work will be underpinned by strong youth work values as well as a supporting strategy that is responsive to the unique needs of children, young people and their communities.

Initially consulting with young people, community stakeholders and professionals, we aim to build the youth service to reflect the needs and interests of our local young people.

Our local staff team will be able to answer questions. Please get in touch, or visit the Gloucestershire Youth Support Team for more information.
