Children & families

We care deeply about the children of today, the adults of tomorrow and all of us here now; the children we were and the people we could be in future, with the right support.

What we do for children & families

We strive to offer the right support at the right time – for every family in need and anyone who is, or ever has been, without the support of a family or familial networks.

For families who need some immediate support at any time of day or night, we offer a range of online self-help articles covering topics we know are affecting families right now. Our online support is constantly evolving according to what families tell us they need support with, through our national helpline, FamilyLine.

For those that need more direct support, our children & families services include pregnancy and early years support, parenting programmes, child development and wellbeing courses, maternal mental health, parent/infant relationship services, emotional support for parents after the birth of their child, trauma therapy services, young carers support services, contact centres, family hubs and many more programmes, courses and groups.

Our services are as diverse as the families we support and cover a broad geographical area across England and Wales.

There are many ways to help ensure that no family has to struggle alone, whether you want to donate, volunteer, partner with us as an organisation or commission our services, you will be helping us to make a difference to families.
