Volunteering

Our volunteers change lives. Whether they’re meeting people face-to-face; taking calls from parents in need of advice; or working behind the scenes to give vital administrative support to one of our frontline services - every one of our volunteers makes a big impact.

You can help us to strengthen families and communities.

Find your ideal volunteering role

Why volunteer?

We need volunteers with a range of life experiences, skills and knowledge to fill our diverse range of roles. In return for giving your time and talents, you will receive quality training, ongoing support, and the reward of knowing that you are making a real difference.

Family Action strives to be an inclusive organisation. Our services are accessed by a wide range of people, from all walks of life. We want to see the same diversity reflected among our volunteers. We welcome volunteers from all communities, and would particularly encourage new volunteers who have a lived experience of the issues which we support and address through our services, volunteers who are from an ethnic minority background, volunteers who are LGBTQIA+, and volunteers who have a disability.

We have a diverse range of volunteering roles, you can find details of what is involved, what’s in it for you and who you’ll be helping on each role page, so search for your perfect role today. You can also read our privacy policy here.
