About this service
A confidential, safe space exploring issues around race, culture and identity through supportive counselling for children and young people from an African Caribbean heritage background. Providing weekly counselling, art and play therapy, sessions, 1-2-1, face to face or online, Growing Minds is aimed at 11-25 year old’s, who present with mild-moderate mental health difficulties, live in City and Hackney and are registered with a Hackney GP. The service is free of charge.

To make a referral to Growing Minds, please complete a Growing Minds referral form which can be found on the Growing Minds website. Referrals need to be sent to our email – [email protected].
The child/young person will be offered an initial assessment appointment, after which their names will be placed on the waiting list. Currently there is up to 12 weeks wait for our service.
