About this service
HeadStart supports young people to develop the skills and experience needed to secure and stay in employment. The programme has a simple methodology – ‘Give Time’, ‘Gain Skills’, ‘Get Ahead’ – that challenges and supports young people to engage in social action volunteering opportunities, as well as employer encounters and supported work placements as a way of developing the skills, confidence and experience required to secure and stay in employment.
