About this service
Mental health can be tough to talk about, but no one needs to face it alone. At Hackney Children & Young People Mental Health Hub, we help support young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.

Our team of Therapeutic Youth Workers and Youth Counsellors can offer:
Support and guidance from a youth worker to help tackle everyday challenges such as exam stress or friendships, and to manage them effectively. We can also help build practical skills to allow informed decisions (e.g. becoming independent, educational transitions, employment) and can help with things like finding a job.

Feelings might relate to things that have happened in the past or that are currently happening in their life. Examples might be big changes, loss, family problems or difficult experiences.
