About this service

Our children and family centres offer a range of both universal offerings and targeted interventions to children and their families. The service seeks to support children and families in all aspects of being healthy, staying safe and achieving their potential.

More Information

Playing an important role in the community, our Children and Family Centres will provide a wide range of supportive activities for children and families throughout Stroud and the Cotswolds.

Achieved through a whole-family approach and multi-agency working, and offering tailored support for those having been identified as being in greatest need, the aims of the centres are:

  • to enable parents and carers to feel confident and capable, providing a space for their children to grow, learn and develop their full potential
  • to help support babies, children and young people to be ready for, and succeed in, education, training and employment
  • to support families to have high levels of resilience, emotional and mental wellbeing.

We understand that the best way to ensure successful service delivery is to work together with those who access the services as well as partners and other providers in the locality. We are committed to providing the right opportunities for this to happen.

If you would like to discuss support options for you and your family, please contact us using the details for each location above and speak to one of our Family Support Workers. You can also talk with other professionals – your Health Visitor, or your child’s school or Early Years setting.
