We’re proud to be launching a new partnership with Dr Oetker to help more families experience the joy, confidence and connection that comes from baking.
Together with Dr Oetker we want to help make baking more accessible to families by providing the ingredients, resources and support needed to get into the kitchen together.
Research by Dr. Oetker shows that while many families would love to bake more often, barriers such as confidence, access to equipment and having the right ingredients to hand can sometimes make it difficult to get started.
That’s why as part of the partnership, we will be putting on free baking sessions at Family Action FOOD Clubs across the country, helping families roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and discover just how fun, rewarding and delicious baking together can be.
We’re also providing free baking kits, recipes and ingredients for families to take home, and Dr Oetker are making a donation to help Family Action continue its vital work.
Alyse Roberts, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Family Action said:
We’re delighted to be partnering with Dr. Oetker and are incredibly grateful for their generosity and shared commitment to supporting families.
We love Dr. Oetker’s vision for bringing people together through baking and can’t wait to see the delicious creations and special moments this partnership will inspire.
Jen Johnson, Head of Marketing – Cake at Dr. Oetker, said:
Baking is about so much more than the finished bake. It brings families together, helps children develop everyday numeracy skills through measuring, weighing and counting, builds confidence and encourages creativity.
We’re proud to be working with Family Action to give more families the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of baking.
Removing barriers to baking
The partnership aims to remove some of the barriers that can prevent families from baking, while creating opportunities for parents, carers and children to learn new skills, build confidence and make positive memories together.
