Toy Appeal: The difference you made in 2025

A man holding a smiling little girl in his arms in front of a glistening Christmas tree. It's Family Action's hero image for the 2025 Christmas Toy Appeal.

Last Christmas, so many families were struggling. 1 in 4 told us they couldn’t afford food. Over half said Christmas felt less magical because of the financial pressure. 1 in 6 couldn’t even afford a single present for their children.

Thanks to your generosity, we spread Christmas joy across England and Wales. You helped us share festive food and treats, and deliver thousands of Christmas presents to children, young people, adults with special educational needs, and their families. With your help, we make sure families don’t go without.

Christmas Toy Appeal left me lost for words

When Jorja first joined Family Action’s perinatal group, she was struggling to find her feet as a new mum, while caring full-time for her own mum, who had cancer.

Family Action became an important source of support and community, and when money worries were added into the mix, thoughtful gifts for her two children from the Christmas Toy Appeal meant a lot to the family during a really hard time.
