This National Adoption Week, we’re sharing a sneak peek of Adopt a Change, our lived experience training programme, which has already reached more than 600 professionals across the UK.

Join Mike Hancock, Jo Mitchell (PAC-UK) and young people from Adopt a Change for a special pre-recorded Q&A panel. Hear how they co-produce and deliver training, what they’ve learned from sharing their experiences, and the changes they hope to see across the adoption sector.

You’ll gain a unique insight into what it’s like for our young people to stand in front of professionals, have their voice heard, and help shape adoption practice.

Together, they’ll explore:

• What they’ve learned about themselves and the value of lived experience
• The impact of sharing their stories on professional understanding and practice
• Why young people’s voices and participation are essential to improving adoption services
• What they still hope to influence and change

From honest reflections to behind-the-scenes moments, this is an opportunity to hear directly from the young people involved and discover the difference their experiences are making.
