A live roundtable discussion chaired by Mike Hancock (PAC-UK), bringing together adoptees, birth parents and adopters to reflect on 100 years of adoption and consider what the future might look like.

The discussion will explore:

• What can we learn from the history of adoption and the Government’s apology?
• What has changed, and what still needs to change in contemporary adoption, particularly in relation to the making, sustaining and breaking of relationships and families?
• What might the future of adoption look like?
• Is adoption still the right model for the future, and what might need to change?
