About this service

Flourishing Babies can provide support to you if you are pregnant or have a child under the age of 2 and are struggling with your mental health, feeling isolated or struggling to connect with your baby.

We offer group and 1:1 peer support to improve your emotional well-being, help you feel more confident as a parent and improve your bond with your baby so you can enjoy parenthood.

Important Announcement: Changes to the Flourishing Babies Service

We would like to inform the public and key professionals that the Flourishing Babies service will not be accepting referrals between December 31, 2024 and March 31, 2025. This decision is due to the end of the current countywide service contract on March 31, 2025. Further details about future arrangements will be shared at a later date.

 

If you are pregnant or have a child under the age of 2 and have concerns about your mental health, we encourage you to contact a health professional for support (e.g. GP or Health Visitor).

 

For families living in North Northamptonshire, ongoing support will be available through the Supportive Steps service.

Future services are being developed for families living in West Northamptonshire, and this will be announced ahead of April 2025 and will form part of the West Northamptonshire Family Hubs Offer.

 

Any parent or professional can contact the 0-19 Universal Children’s Services for support with the health and development of babies, children and young people.

The service is run by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and can be contacted via the Children's Admin Hub on 0800 170 7055 (Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm). Email: [email protected]
